Just a normal Saterday in Thailand

Today I did nothing and it was amazing.

I woke up at 10:30am and just did nothing. I just laid down and closed my eyes and did nothing.

Later Mom asked me if I wanted to go hang out with her so I was like
HECK YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOS!!!!!!!

So we got our hair done and Mom’s eyebrows waxed like fancy people. We’re so fancy. You already no-oh. Well, at least we are that fancy in Thailand. Anyway… After that we went to “La Bouchon” so Fancy right? The “super expensive fancy adult sized cheese burger” is like 10 bucks.

After that we were going to get a foot massage but they were full until 5:00 something so we went to the grocery store and got candy and a little 5 dollar pumpkin for my big sis, Zoe. Trust me she was desperate for a pumpkin. She was using an orange tomato. A TOMATO!!!! The little pumpkin looks SOOO much better.

BTW did I mention that one large pumpkin is literally like $530.00.

Cray Cray! Am I right or am I right?

Red bean and Green tea cake at starbucks

Things are going great! I am currently in 2 clubs. Spin and ceramics.
I auditioned for Honor choir but I didn't get in.

I have a TON of great new friends but I don't know how ok they would be with me saying their names on my blog though.

Right now I'm just hanging out with the best big sister in the world.
A few hours ago or more like a lot of hours ago we went to Starbucks and look what we found.

Weird right?
 EEEWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!

The best birthday gift EVER!!!!

I was in my fave class,Humanities and we had to write a memoir. If you don't know what that is it is a story that you write about a memory. Here is what I wrote

My 5th birthday was the most memorable.

Not because it was my birthday because it wasn’t really my birthday.  It was the night before. It was Madeline’s birthday.

Madeline is probably one of the best friends you could ask for. Friends since birth, Madeline and I did everything together and to this day we are the best of buddies but that wasn’t why the day was so incredible.

That day was the day that we got to go to the airport and see not only my Mom and grandma who had just come back from China after like 3 weeks. We came to the airport for something that would change our lives forever. This was the day,my sister came home.

I was nervous and exhilarated at the same time. Getting a new sister would mean I’m not the baby anymore and I might have to warm up my own hot dogs But it will also mean I’m the big sister now. Kaiya will respect me and love me. We will play barbie dolls and do crafts together and I will be the best big sister ever.

She was breathtaking My whole life changed the minute I saw her. She came held tightly in Mom’s arms.Almond eyes and slight nose. she had dark hair but not much of it. She must have been so confused and upset. I would have been. I could tell how she felt. You could see it in her eyes. She looked confused but happy. Happy that she had a family, Happy that she had a home. Happy that God had brought her to where she belongs. I was a little nervous about getting a new sister but when I saw her I knew it was right.

I don’t know what anyone was saying at that moment. All I know was me,her, and our eyes meeting in complete silence. I could no longer hear the chatter of a thousand voices in the distance nor could I smell the strong scent of the chinese restaurant a few meters away.

I wish I could still remember what I was thinking at that moment as I saw the short and skinny chinese two year old push towards me attempting realise from my Mom’s firm hand pulling her back, Keeping her from falling. All I wanted to do was hold her in my arms.

she was the best birthday gift ever.
