What time is it? Golf cart time!

Sorry I haven't written in a while. I've been busy and lazy. Today i'm gonna be writing about our trip to the mall in our golf cart.

(Imagine me saying this with the voice of a game show host.)

Once apon a time there was a family in Bangkok in Asia on earth with a golf cart. This family only drove their golf cart around the neighborhood or to the nearby grocery store. This time they were gonna drive it all the way to the mall. DUN DUN DUUUUUUUUNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

They searched and they searched until the youngest daughter said "Maybe we should go this way."
They went that way. The youngest daughter was right.

They...

( I am no longer speaking in the voice of a game show host)

Today I tried driving the golf cart around the street. I was doing really good. Like you don't even know. I was doing amazing (for a twelve year old) until I had to park it then I kinda scratched it. Now you must be wondering why the mall story is not finished.

Well lets just say I learned two lessons today.

Drive slow and click save.

These siblings are PRETTY awesome and I would not trade them for the world.
I was born and raised in Houston,Texas.

My dad is so so so so so so awesome!

He told me to say that.

It's true though.

My mom is also super awesome.

she also told me to say that.

These people are my awesome parents.

They didn't tell me to say that

I hope you  enjoyed learning a little bit more about me.

International School Bangkok

Yesterday I took a tour of the school I will be going to while I'm here. The school I will be going to is called International School Bangkok or ISB for short. This school is PRETTY awesome. Here are some pictures from the tour.

This is the Elementary library.
The person who gave us the tour gave us each a little stuffed panther that had a little ribbon around it that said ISB. They are so cute!!!!!!!

This is the pool for the swim team and for middle school P.E. No, I am not joking. This isn't the only one though. There is also a slightly smaller one for the elementary. I can't wait to go to my new school!

This is the middle school gym. One of them at least. There are several middle school gyms. You heard me right. That's just middle school. There are more for the other grades. That's right. MORE!!!!!! You can sign up for different after school activities including but not limited to gymnastics and rock climbing. This is a gym only used for gymnastics and rock climbing.

This is the Elementary play ground. Oh boy, do I wish I had that playground in my backyard.

These are the middle school lockers. You open these with an ID badge! So awesome! Right?

This is going to be my Science class.

This is the middle school library. OH MY GOODNESS. It's heaven for books.

The reason I have this face in this picture is because I had just found out there is a robotics club!!!!!!

There are even rooms in the library just for studying and doing school projects!

This is the theater.(Where I belong.)

There are actually two theaters. this (believe it or not) is the smaller one.

This is the dance studio. Dancing is one of the after school activities or it is an elective class.

And now the EPIC cafeteria. It has 5 options for meals. The meals change every day. Each option has about 3 meals to choose from.
The options are...

1.Thai

2.Continental

3.Salads

4.Noodles

5. Smoothie bar

And sometimes breakfast or pasta.

Your parents can put money on your ID badge and you can use it to pay for lunch

I don't have a picture of the place where you get the food but i do have a picture of me looking through the options for the after school activities in the cafeteria.

Here are some more pics of ISB

ISB is such an amazing and beautiful school and I can't wait to go there.

Grocery shopping like never before

We are gonna buy a golf cart to drive around the neighborhood. Everyone has one around here. We got to test drive one to the grocery store! In Thailand you have to drive on the opposite side of the road. Mom had trouble getting used to it. I got a laugh out of that one. My little brother sat in the front with mom. I sat in the back with my little sis. We had so much fun!
The grocery store was super fun but there was some really gross stuff like squid and fish that still had eye balls EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!!!
No offense to you if you like that stuff but you're never gonna catch me eating something that's still looking at me.

There was also really yummy stuff like fruits that I have never even heard of before!
These are called Rambutan. It looks weird from the outside but on the inside it is a sweet, white, juicy fruit.
The money in Thailand is called baht. $1.00 is worth about 32 baht. So if you come here and see a candy bar that cost 16 baht don't be alarmed. It's really only about $0.50.

The signs in Thailand are not just in Thai. They are also in English so it's not hard to know what you're doing.

I love how everything, even grocery shopping, is fun here!

The best flight of my life!

Our dad's job paid for us to go on business class seats. They were awesome! The chairs went all the way back.TVs came out of the arm rest and had shows, movies, and even games! They gave us blankets, eye masks, moisturizer, pillows, salad, chicken, cake, soup,AND ICE CREAM!!!!!!I'm ruined! I am never flying economy again. Before we got on the airplane daddy said "When you're walking onto the airplane sing "I'm so fancy."" And I did.Everyone stared at me but I don't care because now everyone who was on that airplane knows I'm so fancy.

A new adventure

Once apon a time, there was a tadpole who lived in a pond in Texas. The tadpole was very comfortable where she was. She had great friends, her community was nice, and she even met a nice school of fish. One day a wave came in and the tadpole and her family packed their stuff and started swimming away into a new adventure. They swam and swam until they finally found land. They walked for a while then stopped. Mommy frog said " We're here! Can you believe it?"The tadpole thought she would be able to but she was just so amazed at where her new adventure had brought her.

This is the story of when a tadpole takes on the world.
That tadpole is me. Hi! I'm tadpole Kk but you can call me Kk. I am 12 years old and live in Bangkok Thailand. My family moved here because of my dad's job. I could not be happier about living in this country of culture and city life. This is such a great experience that I can't wait to share with you.
